Sri Sri Sri Swami Madhusudhananandapuri is a Sannyasi of Advaita VedantaTradition of the Bhagavadpada Sri Shankaracharaya and is an ardent Sri Vidya Upasaka, also the Peethadhipathi of the Omkara Ashrama Mahasamsthana, Bengaluru.

Sri Swamiji was born and brought up in a Traditional Hindu family, from his very childhood Sri Swamiji was very much interested in Poojas, Homas etc, and by nature Spiritual.

Sri Swamiji had his regular studies, and worked in our country and Australia. He has travelled many countries which has helped him to get the better insight into the diversity of Religions, Cultures and also to the day to day problems of the common man etc.

In spite of all his jobs and travels, the inner voice of Spirituality became louder and louder and ultimately made him to give up his job and dedicate his entire life for the spirituality.

Having renounced the worldly life he started his serious spiritual pursuit and did lot of Rigorous Tapas in many holy places in different parts of our country under the guidance of many great spiritual masters and spent a few years in the sadhana in Himalayas.

He also did Parikrama of the Holy River Narmada - which is walking along the banks of the River Narmada and circumbulating the entire river- which is approximately 4000km- on foot.

He studied Samskritam, Advaitavedanta Upanishads with shankarabhasyam and many other shastras from many great masters in different parts of India.

Finally Sri Swamiji as per his Beloved Guru Brahmaleena Sri Shivapuri mahaswamiji's desire became the Peethadhipathi of the Omkara Ashrama Mahasamsthana and completed the project Started by his Guru - namely Sri Dwadasha Jyotirlinga devasthana which is an unique and magnificent temple in our country- for the benefit of the people.

 Sri Swamiji wants to help the common man to overcome his tensions, stress, and all sorts of mental illness through poojas, Homas and meditations etc to create a healthy global citizen for Universal peace and prosperity - who will be above religion, culture, language, caste and sex etc.

Sri Swamiji is also very much interested in serving the underprivileged sections of the society by providing them free education, free medical help etc. so that they get merged with the main stream and become useful in building the society. To achieve this he has started a Charitable Trust called Saparya Foundation, which is conducting various activities like free medical camps etc.

In present society though technology has shrinked the globe and brought people very close yet they are moving far away from each other. Trust, Love, peace etc, is getting replaced by distrust, hatred, violence. hence people are suffering for high level of stress etc. observing all this and through divine intuition he found that Kotilinga pooja is a Panacea for all these problems, so started the Sri Kotilingeshawara Mahadeva Devasthana under Bhu Kailasa Dhama trust.
